Better Visiting Teaching - a list of ideas on how to be a better Visiting Teacher
I heard it through the grapevine - Do you have a hard time contacting your sisters?
My Visiting Teacher is awesome. She always brings her calendar when she visits and we set up our next visit before she leaves. My schedule doesn't ususally get too filled up until a week or two ahead, it kind of makes me feel important to know that our visits are important enough for her to schedule that far in advance. (Idea shared by Heather)
Visiting Teaching: Acting as the Lord's Hands
Visiting Teaching by mail - Every sister, wants to feel that she can contribute to her fellow sisters, even while experiencing trials.  A dear friend has a ruptured disk in her back and was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.  Her Relief Society President phoned her and offered her to be a Visiting Teacher by mail.  Some of the less-active sisters in her ward do not Visiting Teachers coming to their homes but they were comfortable with receiving a letter.  Every sister involved is blessed.  (Idea by Barb Bennett / ga05142008)
