How cool is that?? PDF Print E-mail

Have you ever broswed this site and wondered "where did I read about such-and-such idea?"  Have you spent a lot of time trying to "find" that idea you just read about??  Well, here is a solution.  Create your own menu structure!   Meaning, that when you create a login to this site, you can bookmark ANY page.  If you're like me, I hate having to remember a login and password; however, this one is worth it.  Here are some reasons this could be helpful:

~ Let's say you typically visit the same pages each time you come to my site.  You can bookmark them so that after you log in, you can scroll through the pages you've bookmarked and click on the one you want to visit.

~ Let's say you are browsing the site and you have to get off and you don't have time to finish reading the page, but you'd like to come back to it later.  Bookmark it!

~ Let's say you found an idea you really like and you're not sure where it's posted after it's taken off the main page.  Bookmark it so that when you need it, you can easily reference it.  When you're done, take it off your favorites.

~ You can edit your favorites at any time.

~ The log in information is not sold or used by ANY third party.  A login is only required to enable you to track your personal favorites.  That's it.

~ By creating a log in, you are able to post comments and questions on my forum.

~ Change and edit your information easily.

~ Best of all, it's FREE!

Here is a step-by-step tutorial of how it works.  Once you've familiarized yourself with how it works, it will be a piece of cake to use and a HUGE time saver for those who frequent this site regulary.

STEP 1 - Create a login.  In the left hand column you'll see an area that looks like this (see below).  Click on the link that says - Click Here to Register.

STEP 2 - Fill out the required information and click "Send Registration".

STEP 3 - Once you become a member, enter your username and password.  You can click the box "remember me" if you'd like.

STEP 4 - Once you login, it will take you to a blank screen and it will say:

STEP 5 - Upon logging in successfully, you will see your information come up.  "Billy Bob" does not have any favorites bookmarked yet.  So, go to the next step to see how to create a favorite.

STEP 6 - You'll see this information on the right hand column.  Once you are on a page on my site that you'd like to bookmark, click the "Add" button.

STEP 7 - The next screen will ask you what you want to call it?  Where you want to link to? If you want it to open in a new window or if you'd like it to take you directly there?  And where you want this page listed...do you want it listed as the top page in your favorites?  Or does it matter?

So, let's say you're going to bookmark my Young Women page.  This is the information that AUTOMATICALLY apppears once your click "Add".  Now go to the next step to see how I've changed it....

STEP 8 - Highlight all the text in the "Link" box and rename it to ANYTHING you want.  That way YOU remember what it is you bookmarked...at a glance.  Leave the URL alone as this is telling the computer where to take you.  I've chosen to not open a new window and I'm putting this first on my favorite list.  Click the save button (the one that looks like a floppy disk)....and.....it's now saved!

STEP 9 - So now when you go to your favorites it won't say, "No links" (as in Step 6), it will say, "Open MyLinks".  Once you click the drop down menu, all your pages will come up.

STEP 10 - As you can see in Step 9, there is also a manage button.  This allows you to organize, rearrange the order and delete links.

STEP 11 - Can I bookmark pages that are not on SugarDoodle?  Sure!  Let's say you are looking at my Random 10 page and you want to bookmark one of the pages, but it's not on my site.  First, you copy the URL.  What is the URL?  It is the address of the page and it is found at the very top and it looks like this:

Paste the address in the required field.... see example below:

In the "Link" field, call it whatever you'd like.  Then copy the URL into the appropriate box.  I selected "New Window", so that everytime I visit that page, it will open a new window.

I hope you find this tool helpful.  I just wanted a way for you to quickly find and access pages, especially as I'm moving content over from my old site to this one, it can be confusing.  If you have any questions, don't hestitate to ask.  You can e-mail me at: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
