We wanted a gift to give the teachers who came to our teacher appreciation program.

We had each girl take home a piece of decorative paper and write a thank you letter to her chosen teacher. Some parents helped the girls type the letter, some girls used their best handwriting on the final draft. The girls brought the letters back to activity day and we modge-podged the letters onto a wooden clipboard. (2 years ago, the clipboards were $1.00 each at Staples)

The clipboards already have a whole at the top to hang them. We tied ribbons through the top. The girls came up one by one and read their letter to their teacher and then presented the clipboard to them.
