 So we decided to do a different kind of fundraiser this year for girls camp: Selling cookie dough! We are selling chocolate chip cookie dough for $5/dz and each girl going to camp is responsible for selling 10 dozen a piece so that they can earn the $50 towards camp. They can sell it to anyone: teachers at school, neighbors, friends, family, etc... What is great about selling it to others outside our faith is that it can be a missionary tool. People are asking what the money will be used for and they tell them what church they are from and that they are going to a girls camp... We have already had a GREAT response to this. We then arranged for two Wed. night activities to be specifically cookie dough nights! We had about 30 of us in the kitchen in assembly lines making the dough. It was a blast and the Young Women loved it!!
