Scripture: "I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them." (1 Nephi 3:7)

Hi There! I have been a long-time user of Sugardoodle, but never thought I had much to contribute. However, I have developed a scripture reading program for the summer for our Primary and several people have said that I need to share it on Sugardoodle. So here it is! We handed them out to the children this Sunday. The purpose is to get the children in the habit of reading their scriptures every day. The children will bring these cards in each Sunday to be counted towards the group's total. I am working on a bulletin board piece that will keep track of our Primary's progress. I will post it when it is finished.

Here are the links to the summer scripture reading program:
Tracking chart: http://tinyurl.com/7acdgf5
Outside of the card: http://tinyurl.com/6vggvjn
Inside of the card: http://tinyurl.com/6shjfm3
Print the outside and inside as front and back on card stock. Then cut and fold.
Each step in the tracking chart represents 100 days of scriptures read. We add all of the days each child reads when they bring their cards to church on Sunday (i.e. if a child reads all seven days in the week, then they have contributed 7 days toward the 100) You will have to make this work according to how large your primary is. If a child reads their scriptures every day, then they get a sticker on the chart at the far right of their card.
I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions!

I think this would work really well for our Primary. We are tracking our A of F progress (which they incredibly enjoy) as a group, but this could be something our Senior Primary can get started on as well!
