What happens to posts older than a week?
One of the most common questions I'm asked is, "What happens to the posts on your main page once they're moved off? Where does it go?"
I've been asked this question so much, I figured it would be worthwhile to post the answer for all to see. Although this is a great question, the answer is a little complicated.
First off, I file each post under all relevant subjects. So where can you find these other subjects? At the top of the page, there is a section across the top that reads, "My File Box". In this box, is each letter of the alphabet. The "A" represents all of the "A Topics", the "B" represents all fo the "B Topics" and so on. If the post you are looking for is a craft idea, you would click on "C" and then click on "Craft Ideas".
So, now that you know where My File Box is, you might not be able to see all my content (in My File Box) until I get finished moving over my old website to this one. What this means is, that if the post is filed under a topic I haven't yet transfered over to my new site, you won't be able to see that post in the file box, because I do not update my old site to reflect new content.
Here are the 3 BEST ways to find a particular post:
1 - BOOKMARK it!! If you haven't registered on my site yet, consider it. It's free and it will allow you to bookmark your favorite SugarDoodle pages. That way if you see a post on the main page and you don't have time to read over it, just bookmark it and look at it later. Or, if you see something you like, and you don't know where it will go after a week, just bookmark it! You can edit your favorites at any time. To read over more on this option....click here.
2 - I have a search bar in the top left column. I've found the best search results come if you click the option "Exact phrase" (see example below).

3 - If you have already searched and can't find your specific item, feel free to e-mail me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . I don't always know what item you are looking for, but if you describe it well, I can "usually" tell you where to find the post.
At some point, my website will all be on one site....that will be a wonderful day! However, until then, these are the best ways to find content after it's off the main page. Happy SugarGOOGLING!!
