I got Pringles Minis bags and attached the following saying: "There are 'MINI' ways you can give service in your community, 'CHIP' in wherever you can! I also like the play on words of 'mini': that there are 'many' ways to serve and 'mini' as in a lot of little things you can do. (Idea by Rachael Gordon / ga08242008)

LESSON HELPS:
I taught this lesson twice in the past, once as Laurel advisor and three years later as Beehive advisor. What I did in each of these small classes was bring a baby quilt set up and all ready to be tied. We all tied the quilt in class as we discussed ways to provide service in our community. By the end of class the quilt was all tied and the girls decided to which community organization it should be donated. Both classes seemed to really enjoy it. (Idea by Linda)

I am attaching a cow tails candy/taffy to a note that says:
You can make a difference by serving in your CO"Moo"NITY.

There is a very good talk from Pres. Henry B. Eyring in the last general conference. I will be using it in my lesson in a few Sundays. It is called "Opportunities to Do Good." It is in the Saturday morning session.
