I am going to incorporate part of a devotional talk by Elder F. Enzio Busche given at BYU. I saw a video on youtube and really like it. I made a little booklet up of the talk to use as a handout. I just used the points from the video. (Suggested by Miri in Huntsville, Alabama)

LESSON HELPS:
Have the girls write on slips of paper a problem that they are facing, or that a friend is facing this year, or a common challenge for teens. Give them some examples -- parents going through a divorce, moving to a new school, illness in the family, academic struggle, friendship issues. You can prime the pump by throwing in a few of your own ideas but my experience has been that they have no difficulty coming up with typical teenage problems. Put the cards in a basket -- no names on them. One by one have each girl draw a problem out of the basket and find a scripture that would help solve that problem. Then go around the room and have everyone read the card they drew and the scripture they found to go with it. (Idea by D. Gibson)
