Water Baseball or Kickball

VERSION #1
by Sherrie in Texas:

For home plate we used a kiddie wading pool.  1st we used a sprinkler that turned around. They had to stand in the water of near the sprinkler.

2nd base was two big water buckets that they had to put their feet in.

3rd was a chair with water balloons. They had to pop a water balloon before they were safe.

Then for coming home we did the slip 'n slide.

When doing this make sure you can find the water spickets. We had to move our activity because they only have one water spicket that works at that the church. We would have had to use about 4 hoses to get the water we were needed it. So just be prepared.

VERSION #2 by Joyce Terry:

First base was a kiddie wading pool filled with water - the runner had to sit in it.

2nd base was a block of ice which the runner had to sit on.

3rd base was a bucket of water the runner had to stick his foot in.

Between 3rd base and home plate was a 25' length of visqueen. We kept it wet with a hose. The runner had to slide into home plate.

One of the young men leaders kept squirting the hose at anyone in the outfield who was trying to catch a fly ball. It was hilarious!
