Santa's Lost and Found

In advance, the advisor collects from each girls' parents, three objects from around the house that the parents think relate to their daughters personality and objects the daughter will definitely miss.  For example, cell phone, favorite t-shirt, favorite piece of sheet music, etc.  Tell the parents not to tell the girls where the objects are...it is a surprise!

For this activity, the room can be decorated as if for Christmas with a Christmas tree, wreaths, wrapped presents, candy canes, etc.  During the course of the lesson, Santa should come ho-ho'ing in with his pack slung over his back.  He then proceeds to give each gift to it's appropriate owner.  As each gift is given, he can add a little narrative, "For Angie, I have her sheet music, so she can continue to bless everyone with her hours of practicing.  For Megan, her telephone so she can talk to her friends for hours, etc."  It is a lot of fun as each girl receives objects she's been searching for all week.

Just as the girls missed these objects, so everyone else would miss that part of her if it were not a part of her.  Our individuality is a gift to us from God and is thus priceless.
