Is Fear A Factor?
by Kim Bennett / ga07052007

We did fear factor back in October. The great thing was all the fake bugs, flies and rubber spiders with out. The games we played were:

Egg yolk relay- We laid plastic down and the kids stood on in it a line. The first one cracked an egg in the hand of the next person and they transferred the egg from kid to kid at the end they dumped it in a bowl and the team that had the most amount in their measuring cup, won.

(I thought we could use the same plastic but the egg pass was too messy so we set down new plastic for the next event)

Whip cream, cheeto toss- the team picked someone to be the "face" and they put whip cream all over the bottom 1 /2 of the face and then a member of the team threw cheetos to see how many would stick. This was a timed relay.

Spaghetti- We had bowls of cooked spaghetti with the plastic bugs in it and the team picked a member and they had to pick out the bugs with their teeth and the team that had the most bugs won. There were different points depending if it was a fly, beetle or spider.

Sour drink- We mixed rootbeer and lemon juice in a sippy cup and the team choose one person to drink it and the team that finished first one.

Balloon relay- We had bags of pre blown up balloons and each team had a bag where they took the balloon out of the bag raced down the cultural hall, sat on a chair and popped it. First team to pop all their balloons won.

You can come up with eewy gooey names for each of the events. They had a blast. In the end we had to have a tie breaker so we lined the two teams up and they shot a basketball in a line and the team that made the most baskets won.  The fun thing was....because the activity was at Halloween time, there was a lot of fear factor candy out so the winning team got a goodie bag full of fear factor type candy.
