As Rain Produces Beautiful Flowers, Preparation Enriches Temple Worship
(2007 BYU Women's Conference) - Just as a clouds bursts when it rains, we can
burst with preparation. Each raindrop represents a way to prepare. Prayer,
fasting, studying the scriptures, and so many more. Just as the rain makes
flowers grow, so will our preparation allow the blessings of attending the
temple to grow in our lives.
Give each class member a piece of paper and a pen or pencil. Then give class
members three or four minutes to write down some of the qualities they would
like their future husband or wife to have. After they have done this, have them
write down a few things they can do that will prepare them to be able to marry
someone like the person they have
described.
