Have the Young Women prepare a dinner or a treat
for all the young men in their ward who go to the Priesthood session of
Conference. Give each man a treat with "Thanks for Honoring Your Priesthood" on
it. (Idea by Alison Maynes)

Heather D. White shares her handout idea (click
here for picture) - I picked up packs of EXTRA
gum and make SWEET rolls. The quote said, "Strive each day to make an EXTRA
effort to be worthy of the SWEET blessings of the Priesthood." They turned out
really cute and the sweet rolls were delish.
Priesthood Rocks by Wendee Nelson
"The blessings of the Priesthood are immeasurable" (attach to a small ruler or
tape measurer)
Then for a handout I found rolls of Breath Savers for 7/$1 and I'm covering the
label with a paper that says "Heavenly Father gave us the Priesthood to bless
our lives. What has it MINT to you?" (Idea by Jennifer Madsen)

A few weeks ago I chaperoned the "no prom prom" and we had such a
blast! I took my digital camera with me, which has video capabilities.
Throughout the course of the night, I interviewed every young man there and
recorded their answer to one very important question: "How can the young women
help support you in holding the priesthood?" I was very proud of their answers!
Some got really into it, others just a few words for their answer. But they were
good answers, some of which I had never really thought about! So now I am trying
to get the video clips from my computer onto a DVD. You can always take
this idea for another lesson - just change the question. I think it will really
help the YW to hear it coming from the YM! (Idea by Corinne

I
plan to have pictures of different blessings of the Priesthood I have
experienced in my life....when my family was sealed when I was 7, my baptism, my
wedding (eternal marriage), the day I took out my endowment, the day my baby was
born (eternal family) also one of my husband injured when he truly gained the
testimony of a blessing of healing. (Idea by Erica in Louisiana)
I'm going to gather 14 rocks, and on each rock write one of the blessings we
receive through the Priesthood (the list found in the manual). Place the rocks
on a piece of long, brown paper with a line down the middle to represent a road.
During the lesson pick up each rock and talk about the blessing written on the
rock and how experiencing each one of these blessings in our lives removes one
of the rocks on our road to eternal life. As a handout the tag will say "Don't
travel a Rocky Road! Make it smooth by benefiting from Priesthood
Blessings!"....attach the tag to a Rocky Road
candy bar. (Idea by Emily Kayner)

Priesthood “Rocks” (from BYU Women's Conference)

Hold up an open umbrella. Have the girls squish in tight so everyone can
fit under the umbrella. Explain that the umbrella is like the priesthood
and when a worthy man holds it, his whole family is protected by that special
gift from Heavenly Father.
