We're planning an adult only dinner in the theme of a country hoe-down. We'll pick everyone up on a few corners in the ward with a hayride trailer towed by a truck or tractor.  February might be cold, but it will still be fun. Each couple will bring a picnic type basket with a dinner for two already in it. Example - fried chicken, potato salad, bottles of root beer, and two pieces of apple pie. But it can be anything the couple desires to pack - the fun part is the 'white elephant basket' game that we'll play at the church.  Everyone ending up with someone else's picnic basket dinner! You never know what you'll end up with. During the game at your turn you can pick a basket off the table with all the baskets or you can pick a basket from someone that already picked a basket.   You can steal it away from them! especially if you might know who cooked it! You could encourage the members to 'brag' about what they will pack during the weeks before the activity.  That way the anticipation for it will build excitement and suspense!  For entertainment, we will have someone calling square dances so the dress for the party will be skirts, overalls, boots and hats. We hope this will be a fun twist on the 'Adult only' valentines dinner.
