Floral Pen
 


Make your mother/teacher(s) a floral pen.  You need a pen, some floral green tape and a silk flower.  You cut the silk flower off leaving a stem that is a couple inches long, then you hold the silk flower so that it sticks out and becomes the top of the pen and then you wrap it with green floral tape.  Attach the following poem:

My Mother, A Flower

Mother, you’re like a flower,

delicate and beautiful too.

Everyone can see this fact

no matter what you do.

Often I wonder how it is

that God blessed me with you,

because you’re such a loving soul

in all you say and do.

So take this pen that I have made

for you this Mother’s Day

and remember all the special times

your love showed me the way.

I hope you know I LOVE YOU Mom,             

I should tell you hour by hour.

But on the days that I forget, just look upon this flower.


 

For a teacher:
This pen has a flower
For everyone to see
So don’t take it!
Don’t move it!
It’s teacher’s pen from me!
We thank you for teaching!
All __________(name of ward) Ward’s little kids
And hope you know how special
