Service Ideas For Children
 

I'm always looking for ways me and my children can serve.  Sometimes it can be hard to serve with real young children but here are some ideas to get you started.   If you have some ideas you'd like to add, e-mail them to me.
 

  Help Assemble hygiene kits.

  Make service coupon books for things they could do around the house or the neighborhood.

  Activity books for the hospital Emergency department.  Coloring pictures, mazes, dot to dots, all put together in folders with a few crayons attached.

  Make fleece blankets and donate them to your local homeless shelter.  Fringe the edges and then tie them together.  You can do one layer or two depending upon your finances and what you want to spend.

  Repair books for the library.

  Plant flowers at a habitat for humanity home.

  Talk to someone in your area at an area on aging office and wash windows for a senior, or rake their lawn, plant a few flowers.
