Chris-Hopper
Shared by Nicole Richins / ga11152007

In an effort to teach the children about reverence, I told the story of Chris-hopper  from the Friend.  It talks about him deciding that on Sunday his feet could be like a turtle.  I printed off little turtles and taped them to their shoes to remind them to walk reverently.

Additional Ideas from Lynda Whitlock -
I first attached to the children's shoes and the turtles which replaced the grasshoppers we I removed from the children's shoes after we talked about reverent behavior in the chapel.  [Grasshopper Clipart | Turtle Clipart]
