Repentance Object
Lesson
by Lynne Blaisdell
I saw a friend of mine take a picture of a child in a
picture frame with glass in it, and use a marker or dry erase marker to
color over the picture to represent sin when most of the picture was covered
up she then began talking about repentance, and used a spray bottle full of
either water or window cleaner (can't remember which) that would remove the
marker from the glass of the picture showing how repentance works. It
was the first time that I saw approach to teaching repentance and thought it
was a great idea. You might want to use a "generic" picture that way
your not singling out any specific child when you talk about "sinning" and
that way if liquid does seep under then you don't have to worry about
ruining a picture of one of the primary children. I guess I forgot to
specify that part.
