Nephi's Courage

Here is an idea from Christy's Clipart.

Our primary just learned the Apostle Song and I decided to make it to the tune of Nephi's Courage because I included their entire first name, middle initial, and last name just as we say them when we refer to them.  I thought it was more respectful and the kids now know their entire full names!  I made a poster with the apostles pictures that I cut down to about 5x7 size so the kids could also put a name with a face.  (Idea by Rekehl Johnson)

Sing the Apostle Song to Nephi's courage.  I get 8x10 pictures of each of the apostles and put them in page protectors in a binder. I type out their last names and put them at the bottom of their picture.  When we sing this I just use the binder and flip the pages.  Eventually we will remove the name strips!  (Idea by Penny)

Have a mailbox with 7 envelopes in it. Each envelope has a clue as to what song to sing (which of coarse is “Nephi’s Courage”). One clue was a melody snippet, one was a few of the key words from the song, one was a picture depicting the song, one was an anagram, one was a synonym, and one was they hymn number.
