The April 1999 Friend had some great visuals to teach this song (on pp. 14-15). See if you can get your hands on this issue and copy them.  Check your church library.  They usually keep older copies of the Friend magazine.

I brought in a tape with a children's choir singing Beautiful Savior and asked them to close their eyes and listen. When it was over I explained that the voices singing were the same age as they. I again challenged them to sing as well as the choir to which they responded well.  (Idea by Cindee Alexander)
