Pass the ______ Game

It is a game similar to "button, button, who has the button".  I had the children get in a circle, with one child in the center (with their eyes closed).  Then I started a little plastic egg (different objects can be used to coordinate with different themes or holidays) around the outside circle as we sang our review songs.  The pianist would stop randomly and whoever had the egg put it where it could not be seen.  If they were not singing, I would have the pianist keep playing until it landed on someone who was.  It is amazing as to how fast they learned to sing where I could hear them.  The child in the middle had to guess who had it.  For jr. primary I let them guess who had it as many times as needed, with clues.  In sr. Primary they had 2 guesses.  Whoever had the egg took middle chair on next round.  If it looked as if the same children were getting the egg I would direct the pianist as to when to stop.  That way every one had a chance to be in the middle.  It was a lot of fun.
