Mystery Music
Come
into the room for singing time wearing a trench coat, hat, dark glasses and
carrying a small notebook - tell the kids you're on a hot case and are
looking for clues and you need them to help you - before primary hide clues
around the room, under chairs etc. The clues can be big question marks
you've cut out from construction paper. Then for fun you can print the clue
in a tiny font so that the kids need to look at it through a magnifying
glass. On the chalkboard it can have a question that you're searching for
the answer. The answer to the clues will be songs and the first letter for
each song will be a part of the answer. My Heavenly Father Loves Me, On a
Golden Springtime, The Church of Jesus Christ; Help Me Dear Father to Freely
Forgive, Early To Bed and Early To Rise, Reverence is Love. This example
spells out Mother - but you can do whatever fits into your theme.
