Cookie Cutter Charades

I
bought a set of
101 cookie cutters at Roberts when visiting family in Idaho.
I used a basic cookie recipe and baked a few cookies, 2 of each. I used a
hand, flower, tree etc for the younger group. I divided them into 2 teams. A
representative came up from each team and each received a cookie. Then they
went back to their team and had to think of a primary song related to that
object. The first team to think of a song got a point. Example, my hands, in
the leafy tree tops, popcorn popping on the apricot tree. The
representatives got to eat their cookies. Everybody on each team got a turn.
For the older group I did letters. They had to think of a word beginning
with that letter in a song. It was great fun.
Additional note by me - I was thinking you wouldn't need to even make
the cookies...you could have each team choose a cookie cutters and they had
to write down (as a team) a song that corresponded (in some way) with that
shape. The first team to finish assigning their cookie cutter
wins and the Primary sings their song. You could continue doing this
for as little or as long as you'd like.
