Potato Printing
 

What you will need:

2 or 3 small potatoes
a knife
paint
paper

What to do before leaving for church:

Make a shape or design that goes along with your theme or make shapes like a star, heart or circle.  Cut the potato in half and create your design on the end of the potato.  Carve around your shape so the shape sticks out from the rest of the potato.

Once at Nursery and you are ready to start:

Dip the shape into some paint.  Press the potato stamp down on some paper.
