I Spy Bottles

This activity is a HIT with every child.  They simply love this.  Take a miniature water bottle and fill two thirds the way full of sand, salt or rice or even bird seed.  Put in five or six small items (examples: marble, googley eye, paperclip, dice, etc...just remember that it needs to be able to fit through the opening of the bottle).  Seal lid and shake up.  The children then have to find the five things you put in the bottle.  Real fun handout.  Make a label that ties around the lid that tells them what you put in the bottle so they know what to look for.  Go to this website to see some fun and different I Spy Bottles...
