Record several of the children's Father's singing a Primary song. The
children then guess who's singing the song and then everyone sings it
together! (Song ideas: A Happy Family,
Daddy's Homecoming, Fathers, My Dad, Love is spoken here, Quickly I'll Obey,
When We're Helping, The Dearest Names).
Father's Day Snack Mix - CUTE poem/idea
from www.teachingheart.net
Have
the fathers come in and let the children have a snack time with their
fathers. Let the children help their fathers. You know the
children like to help do things. Let them help set the table and give
out things. You could let the children give a card or small gift to
their fathers. For those children who have no father at home, let them
invite a friend. (Optional) Let the children even make a special
invitation the Sunday prior to give to their fathers. (Idea by Zippy)

Last year for father's day we gave cans of "Dad's"
Root beer with a note in the shape of a tie that said; "To the world's
greatest POP!" (Charla Buchanen)

Something real easy that I am going to do with my kids
You take a strip of construction paper about 18 inches long by about 4
inches high. Across the 18 inches you have the child write "I love you this
much!" Love, Child's Name. Then you have the child fold another piece
of construction paper and trace their hand on it. When they cut it out they
have 2 identical hands. You glue these at each end of the 18" strip. Then
fold the strip so the hands match. On the outside the child can write "Happy
Father's Day".
Do this the week before
Father's Day. Make life-size ties out of white
cardstock. We had crayons, pom-poms and stickers for the kids to
decorate their ties. Before the kids decorated the ties we glued this poem
to the back and then had the kids write their name on the back so we could
keep track. The poem was:
Happy Father's Day, Daddy! I love you so;
I wanted everyone to know
So I designed this nifty tie,
'Cause I think you're a special guy.
Wear it with pride, Don't be afraid.
(Wait 'til you see what The other kids made.)
And anyone who stops to stare
Will only see how much I care.
(Please wear the "new" tie to church on Father's Day---You won't be alone!)
Love, _______
