Edible Floral Bouquet

These bouquets are so fun and easy.  They are perfect for a birthday present, visiting teaching sister or Mother's Day!  I just went to the dollar store and picked up some cute planters.  Then I put some floral foam in the base of the planter.  Cover the base with any kind of moss.  Next I took a skewer and put a gumdrop head down, then placed a shortbread cookie (the kind that have holes in the center) on top of it, followed by another gumdrop.   Make as many flowers as you'd like and whala!  It "should" last longer than real flowers!

Another idea by Michele (ga05162007):

We modified this idea a bit.  Instead of the planter and the moss, we used vases and colored glass stones inside to support the sticks.  We found some green leaves (jelly) candy.  We used yogurt covered pretzels because one of our sisters doesn't eat chocolate. The cellophane wrapping we used had bees on it.  Very cute!
