Bread in a Bag

We had our enrichment the other night.  We offered 3 classes.   First they went into either the stepping stones or cleaning/organizing class.   Then after 30 minutes they went into Bread in a Bag class and the cleaning/ organizing one.  It always works on paper but never in real life.

Garden stepping stones - made out of cement poured into one of those plastic plant watering dish thingies.  They decorated them with a bunch of buttons, beads, marbles and anything else they wanted to decorate them with.

Bread in a Bag - We had them make pretzels because it was shorter than actual bread.  All you do is mix bread ingredients in a Ziploc bag and then kneed it and shaping into a pretzel.  Because there is no cooking in the church anymore we did this class last so they could take them home to cook them.

Cleaning/organizing - I taught this class so I missed all the stuff going on in the other classes.  I had volunteered to do the class and learned a lot in researching cleaning and organizing websites.  I told them in the beginning that they were to "do as I say and not as I do" because I don't have an immaculate house!  I had about 3 hours of information that I had to condense down into 30 minutes.  Didn't get everything covered that I was prepared for.  We had a lot of group discussion going on with various hints and tips and that's what I was aiming for anyway.  You know there is always that one person that just sits there and looks at you and never changes facial expressions.  You just never know what they are thinking.  Nobody showed up for the second class so I cleaned up and went in and watched them make bread.

Refreshments - Homemade bread and homemade pretzels with various dips to tie into the bread class.
