Personal Progress Clue Game - I created a "Clue" game around the values. I had 7 rooms, 7 YW, and 7 tools. I had 1 YW per room. I had girls from a neighboring ward act as the characters.  The game began with me explaining that the Stake YW President had found a finished value project but didn't know who had done it, where it was done, or what tool was used to do it.  We divided the group of YW into smaller groups. Each group was given a sheet to keep track of the clues.  The girls in the rooms gave out 2 of the clues on their paper. They could do whichever ones they wanted and didn't have to honor requests from the groups. The first group to figure out who the YW, what the tool was, and which value project was completed came back to the original room and they won the game. The girls loved it and the Young Women that acted the parts wanted to do it in their ward. It turned out really fun. (Idea by Susan Wilson / ga10272007)

Need an idea advertising for this activity?  Here is an idea from Laura LeVitre (ga03112007):  She says, "I enlisted my husband to write up a poem for a poster. It is as follows:

Come one come all to marvel here,
At dinner you'll be told,
Some twisting clues to solve wherein
A mystery to unfold.

Judge Black, the Maid and Mr. Enn,
I wonder who will be,
Convicted by dessert, "WATCH OUT!"
He's sitting next to me!

I had my daughter use an old pair of shoes and step in black paint then put tread marks mostly around the edge of a poster. I found a free clipart image of a magnifying glass and made a border of that then put the poem and dinner information inside the border."
