I wanted my children to know more about President Hinckley's life and the many accomplish-ments he has had.  So I created a some cards and cut them up individually and put them in a small basket (see picture).  So, they first drew a card from the basket and then they read it aloud.  Then the child post's their card one-by-one on a timeline, made of butcher paper (see picture).  You could make the timeline however you want, but I did my time line by age.    So the children would post his achievement on the poster according to his age at the time.  It was a fun part of the lesson and we all learned things we didn't know.
