Ward Camps: Values

Activities: Anything under the Rainbow (Camp Certifications) Pot of Gold: Journal Writing, Genealogy, service projects, etc. Form a rainbow: Each Ward dress in their value color and sit in an arch to form a big rainbow

Special Night Activity: Wait until dark and gather everyone together. Split into groups or Ward. Have some stories going on at main place as groups are taken from main spot to stations. Have leaders take flashlights and guide group to value stations. Ask everyone to keep quiet as the value tour is taking place. Each value station could be lit by flashlights with colored wrap over them so the value color is represented. At each Value Station, the speaker would give a few messages of how that value is important to the family. At each station, each girl will receive a pebble that has been colored to match that value. Then they will be taken on the path to the next station. As the group finishes up the seven value station they will be lead back to the main spot to wait until everyone is finished. " Families Can Be Together Forever" could be sang and testimony meeting could be held.

Crafts: Make Candles in value colors. Make YW Torch lanterns. (Cans with wire for handles. Take a nail and hammer and punch little holes in the shape of the YW Torch and put a candle in it. As the girls lit it you will see the YW Torch lit)
