M & M Activity
A while back for a combined Young Women activity the Mia Maids had us play a game that was so much fun and I usually do not like games. We all sat in a circle. They gave us a small paper or plastic plate then they passed around a bowl filled with M&M's. All they told us was to take as many as we needed but not to eat any. The bowl had a spoon in it for getting the M&M's. Some took only a few, some took a lot. There was a lot of giggling and we all wondered what was going to happen. Then we were told to separate all the colors into little piles. Then for each color we were to tell something about ourselves. You had to tell one thing for each M&M. There were a lot of groans from those that had taken many, but it was a really fun and interesting way to share and get to know each other. Here are some or you could make up your own.
Yellow - what makes you happy?
Blue - future dreams
Brown - toiletries you could not live without
Green - school, favorite subject
Red - love, the man of your dreams
Orange - things you do well
Another
version:
M&M (Tell Me About It) Everyone chooses an M & M.
Then the host brings out a chart (or even several
charts) with colors that match topics such as:
yellow = something about childhood
red = something about yesterday
blue = something learned at church on Sunday
brown = something that happened at a high school dance
orange = what happened on your 10th birthday
Then you tell about yourself according to the color of
m and m you chose.
