The Yarn Game

Everyone stands in a group, one person (in the middle) holds the end of a ball of yarn. They state something about themselves (usually something they like), everyone who that statement fits raises their hand, the person then (while holding onto the end of the yarn) hands the ball to one of them, they then state something about themselves and continue, everyone holding onto a piece of yarn (at the end, everyone raise hands up and gather a knotted section of yarn so no one gets caught in it). Once everyone is holding onto some yarn they can then look at the people they are connected to as people they have things in common with... By the end everyone was connected. We also had the rule that you couldn't hand the yarn to someone who was already holding it.
