A true friend is KNOT critical.   A true friend is KNOT thoughtless or Judgmental.   A true friend is KNOT untrustworthy and does KNOT destroy. Rather she builds. A true  friendship is KNOT just a blessing but is a miracle.  A true friendship is KNOT to be taken for granted.  You are rich if you have but one true friend.  Do KNOT forget to be that true friend. Let's keep our friendship KNOT'S knotted tightly so our friendship does KNOT slip away! (Attach this saying to a piece of rope tied in a know, pretzels or make breadsticks tied in a knot)

Give Rolos and Hershey kisses with this thought: "Make new friends, but keep the old. For some are silver and other are gold." (with the candy, you gave gold and silver like in the poem!)
Give some cookies with this thought: "Friends and Cookies"  Friends . . .they come in all shapes and sizes and colors. Some are soft and sugar coated. Some are snappy and full of ginger, and some are just plain nutty. We can treat ourselves to many different kinds and there is always room for one more."
Go to a pharmacy and get some medicine bottles.  Fill them with jelly beans or similar candy.  Put the following phrase on the label: "
The best vitamin for making friends is B-1."
Heart - "Friendship is a work of heart" (heart candy or sticker)
Spoon - Take a plastic spoon and fill the end of spoon with a treat.  Put a plastic baggie over the end of spoon, covering treat, and tie closed with ribbon.  Attach the following saying: "A spoonful of patience helps any friendship grow."
