I will honor my father and mother

I cut out several little bugs and on the back I wrote down songs that dealt with families (Families can be Together Forever, I love to see the temple, Quickly I obey, When were helping, Fun to do, Happy Family, etc) and scriptures and quotes that deal with the family (Exodus 20:12, proclamation, paragraph 7, etc.)

How do we show Heavenly Father that we love Him? We give thanks for all He gives us, we talk to Him in prayer each day, we treat Him with reverence, and we obey His commandments. Heavenly Father commands us to also honor our earthly parents by doing some of the same things—obeying them, showing them love and gratitude, and respecting them., and Our Father in Heaven has given responsibilities to each person in the family. He gave parents the responsibility to teach and care for their children. As a member of a family, you also have important responsibilities. Heavenly Father has commanded us to obey our parents (see Eph. 6:1). He has asked us to love and serve one another. Each family member should be helpful, cheerful, and kind to other family members. When we help family members, we are showing our love for them and for Heavenly Father).  Some bugs said respect
mother, respect father, respect brother or sister.

Then I taped all these bugs all over my dress. When I got to the front of the room, I told then that I woke up feeling very sick and that I must have caught a "bug" or something. Then I had kids come up and take a bug off my dress and we talked about the quote or song and then sang the song. When all the bugs were gone I bore my testimony about the importance of families. Then I told the kids that this "bug" I caught was highly contagious. I then stuck bug stickers on their faces and told them to go home and spread the happy family bug to their families.
