Fun Family Activity
 

Well, our family dance activity was a great success. We hired a DJ who was really terrific with lots of fun dances and games. I was concerned that no one would dance and that kids would just run around - however, everyone participated! It was terrific. We started at 7:00 and played musical chairs with the few people that were there. However, people started coming and joining in the game - and it kept getting bigger instead of smaller - which was pretty funny. Then we had a sister in our ward who teaches dance teach us the Cowboy Cha Cha for about 20 minutes. After that we had regular dancing. Lots of things like chicken dance, YMCA, Macarena, bunny hop, etc. Sometimes kids and adults would get on the stage and lead everyone in some moves. Should make for some great pictures! It was really fun. The kids had a riot. We had Tim Bits for refreshments (donut holes). By the time it was over all the adults were as exhausted as the kids. It's definitely something I think we should do again! (Who'd a thought?! Not me!)
