Christmas Pillowcases


 

1 yard Christmas Fabric
1/4 yard contrasting Fabric

Fold 1/4 yard of contrasting fabric in half, lengthwise, wrong sides together.
Pin folded piece to raw edge of 1 yard piece, right sides together, match cut edges
and sew with 1/4" seam allowance.  Press seam away from the 1/4 yard of fabric. 
With right sides together, fold fabric in half matching selvage edges. 
Stitch across cut end and down the side using 1/4" seam.
Turn pillowcase right side out.

With all sorts of colors, ribbons & rhyme....
Sugar plum fairies will dance in your head....
If you put this special pillowcase on your bed.
The reason it's special, as you will soon see
Is that it's been dusted with Christmas Fancy!

Will fill each dream with sweetness and pleasures.
When the time comes for it to be washed
Do it quickly so no magic is lost!
