A Crisis in Character from Meridian Magazine

Lesson Plans, Booklets and More!

A hard boiled egg with a smiley face drawn on it.  "Sometimes we feel dull and uninteresting, or we feel like we do not fit in.  That tends to make one crack under pressure.  (Crack one of the eggs slightly).  Sometimes we're not even pleasant to be around (Plug your nose).  Sometimes we build a wall or have a hard outer shell (begin to peel the eggshell).  When a hard outer shell is peeled away, we begin to know the true person inside (completely remove the shell and then cut it open).  Only then can you discover something special about yourself or someone else....that you have a heart of gold (show the yellow yolk of the egg against the white).  Handout could be: Cadbury Crème Eggs or Whoppers Malted Milk Balls.  (Credit: Homemaking Cottage).
