When I was in college studying theater, in one class, we
had to take a few lines from Shakespeare and look up every single word in the
Oxford English Dictionary. It was quite an exercise and revealed the many
meanings, deeper meanings of the text.
It could be a great way to prepare to have the girls look up the words in D&C
121:45 and the 13th Article of Faith in the dictionary. You could assign each
girl to look up a word, and then report on the best meaning as it appears in the
verse. I just went through them and looked up the keywords at
www.dictionary.com
or in the
Bible Dictionary - here is what I came up with. You could take
the words and the definitions and have the girls match them up, then re-read the
verses with these definitions so they get the deeper meaning.
