Sharing Time Helps
by Lisa Hasson

I made a gift box that contained objects in it of things I am grateful for having to do with the gospel in my life.

Examples:

Temple-I'm grateful my family can be sealed together.

Picture of girl praying--I am grateful to know that I am a child of God and that I can pray to Him any time and get answers to my prayers.

Tie or consecrated oil--I am grateful for the priesthood share examples.

Sacrament cup--Grateful that I can come to church each week and take the sacrament and learn.

Baptism picture or dress--I'm grateful I could be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We will sing a song after talking about each item.

For Junior Primary:  I will give them clues to an object in the gift box.  When they guess it I will pull it out and discuss why I am so grateful for it.

For Senior Primary:  We will play a game where one child will give clues to another child to figure out what I am thankful for.  Instead of objects in the box, the clue will look like this:

Clues:     Spire, building, Moroni, world-wide, God's house
Answer:  Temples

The first child will draw this out of the box.  They will have to get the second child to say temple without using any of the words listed.  Then we will talk about how the gospel is a great gift to us that we should share with others.
