The other day our six-year-old
daughter, Kair, was busy singing the "Old McDonald" song. At first she
started out with the typical farm animals, such as, a duck and a dog.
Next she added, "...and on his farm he had a Dad." (Her father was
seated in the front room at the time. I was in the kitchen extremely
interested in what a dad said on Old McDonald's farm.)

Kair sounded out the chorus, with a "mad, mad here and a mad, mad there, here
a mad, there a mad, everywhere a mad, mad, Old McDonald had a farm..."
Trying not to laugh or smile, I peaked around the corner to see the expression
on my husband's face. He lowered his paper and responded, "I get the
picture." My husband from that time forth has learned and is learning to
control his temper. Isn't it amazing what children can teach us?
Indeed God blesses little children.
