Sacrament Bread


 

Our 8-9 year old girls did a great activity where they made bread, and gave that bread to the ward for the Sacrament on Sunday. They learned a skill, and also talked about the Sacrament and why we have it, and what it means.  It went over really well, and they loved knowing they helped with the Sacrament.

ADDITIONAL IDEAS FROM Kim Judd: The girls enjoyed making the sacrament bread. I sent a note home with the parents a couple of weeks in advance (I also use e-mail as my major form of communication), asking them to allow their daughters to do the Family Home Evening lesson on the sacrament the week of Activity Days (Learning and Living the Gospel) in preparation for our activity.  The girls had a blast!
