Plan of Salvation
Idea by Sara McCullum

We began with two children playing together at the front of the stage & one began telling his friend about the plan of salvation.  They used spiritual ralph (have you heard of this??  A series of fun pictures which the elders often use here in discussions.  We held an MTC earlier that year & this was one thing they did, each went home with a copy.)  When he talked about the pre existence, the curtains opened & behind a 'veil' the other children & us leaders sang I lived in Heaven.  Then he talked about how we are tested on earth & how important church & the gospel is.  Said how much Primary helped him, and Achievement Day helped him become the person the Lord wanted him to be.   Then curtains opened & various children spoke about various activities we had done and how they had helped them grow.  Then a quick talk or two about the gospel standards.  The certificates were presented here by the Bishop & Primary President.  The children then all left the hall.  This left one leader to talk for 10 minutes to the parents about  how important the program was etc & how essential their support was. Then the curtains opened once more & all the leaders & children were dressed in white & we sang I am a child of God, and we did the sign language to the chorus (we had learned this at stake a. day).  For us this worked really well, by doing a presentation the spirit was there so strongly, felt by all.  We had displays around of the kids achievements.  It was fantastic!
