I am having a Mother/Daughter party for my girls. They will board a plane (set up in the hall of the church) and I (the stewardess) will welcome them on board of "Activity Days Air", pass out peanuts, then show them a movie of where they will be going (they received an invitation that looked like a plane ticket with a destination to ?)  You could rent a short video from your local library.  They will then get off the plane and enter the gym that will be decorated up like Hawaii.  We will then make some grass skirts (use butcher paper, cut lots of slits to look like a grass skirt and then have everyone wear them...tape them on) & lei's to wear, then we will have Hawaiian Haystacks for dinner. I thought we would have a hula hoop contest & perhaps try to learn the hula (if I can get it down a little better!) Then have some kind of coconut something for dessert, while I award the girls with their certificates of achievement.
