In the Faith in God booklet, it states under “Orientation and Recognition”:

At least twice a year, a Primary activity day (or a Cub Scout Pack meeting) should include opportunities for the children to share what they have learned and accomplished.  Recognizing the goals that have been accomplished is exciting for the children.  In Cub Scouts, boys receive little awards and cards with their accomplished achievements for their scouting participation.  For the girls, these Recognition Cards can be used to recognize what a girl has accomplished much like the awards and cards for the boys.  Use one card per goal attained.  For instance, if a girl has learned how to play the flute, use the card under “Developing Talents” and fill it out as thus:

Child’s Name, Goal Attained (Playing Flute), the signature of the Activity Days leader and the Date she passed it off.

This card help to formally recognize the achievement of the girl and that she has worked hard towards achieving her goal.  (This is not an official practice of the Church or the Faith in God Program.  This is only one possible way of recognizing the girls for their achievements.)
