Here are some activity ideas based around
Halloween/Fall.
If you have others you would like to add,
e-mail them to me.

Pumpkin Bouquets
Halloween Treats - We did fun Halloween/fall treats. I used mini
pumpkins and had the girls scoop out the stuff (I cut the top off before the
activity) and we put veggie dip inside. Also, Two Ritz crackers with peanut
butter in the middle and 4 pretzel sticks on each side for the legs with 2
raisins for eyes. These were spiders...hee, hee.
Broomsticks were made by taking a large pretzel and wrapping a 6 inch
piece of "fruit by the foot" around the bottom and cutting the ends for
the bristle part. Anyway, it was fun to show them ideas for FHE
refreshments. I had the girls put the snacks on a plate and wrapped it
with plastic wrap for them to take home. (Idea by Steph Neeley)
I
have struggled to find a fun Halloween activity for my girls that would help
them achieve their goals. I am doing a Halloween Traditions around the
World. I have done some internet research to find ideas in other
countries. I admit that there are some things I have omitted because they
are questionable, but I have focused on those things people do in other
countries to honor their dead. I am going to type out the countries I have
researched, and will have each girl take turns reading about those
countries.
Here is a good website.
This will be both fun and culturally educational. I hope it turns out fun
for the girls. We will have snacks and talk about Halloween traditions in
their families as well. (Idea shared by Gwen Steed /
